We have regularly experienced that professional armed people, with the same training experience and working according to the same laws, react in different ways in the same situation: unlawfully, unprofessionally and/or unsafely. We could find only one parameter and that is the personality of people, more specifically their emotional interpretation.
The mental-tactical training, developed for a system, practically, is an ‘emotional/mental’ tactical training. According to our experience during the courses held, there are more than one factor, which determine the person’s behaviour, and they must be trained simultaneously. Although a reformed traditional training is indispensable, the mental-tactical training must definitely be integrated so that exclusively professional and well-trained people could carry arms.
Scientific knowledge the training is based on:
- Emotional associative thinking: functions as at the age of 0-4, is based on emotional endeavour, works unconsciously, is capable to apply the knowledge of rational thinking if it is fixed, anchored. Before one realises that they are in a particular situation, they start to act. This kind of thinking cannot be restructured by itself only with integration of logical thinking.
- Logical thinking: is semantically (linguistically) coded, is based on endeavour, and is capable to work with semantically coded knowledge, the knowledge and response skill can be restructured.
As a matter of fact, we create professional situations for the participants with experienced trainers. The situations provoke lifelike emotional responses. That is recorded on a video and we measure their ECG-based pulse rate during the action. The measurement results can prove the rate of stress, which is suitable to demonstrate how the performance has weakened. We make the participants tell the actions, with the help of the language, we derive the knowledge from the emotional associative thinking to the logical thinking where it is possible to make constructions. Afterwards, we compare their stories with the video records that show which are the moments when the participants acted consciously as they can remember the actions well. After that, we provide them with new knowledge in their logical thinking. The participants gather and tell us the lessons learnt. Since the participants are in a highly emotional state during the whole process, the new knowledge integrates in emotional associative thinking therefore the knowledge immediately becomes usable.
We create training situations suitable to illustrate either a legal or a tactical situation, or a psychological phenomenon, or a physiological feature, or a combination of those. The training makes possible to restructure the reflex responses, the genetic determination, childish emotional interpretations, and the rational knowledge and to create a lawful, professional and safe performance based on professional emotional interpretation and professional context.
The feedbacks and practical experience of the national and international participants are indisputably positive.
